Migratory Birds Flyway

 There are thousands of migratory birds flew from all over the world seeking  places for comfort specially during winter season annually. Hence, the Philippines is one of their routes to spend  by escaping the spill of the winter season to survived. In the Philippines there are selected places of their destinations where food availability is the choice and safety.

           The Baywatch coast and wetlands in the City of  Kabankalan , Negros Occidental, Philippines provided the atmosphere of there journey and short stay. The local government units have designed measures of protecting migratory birds through an Ordinance.   

           In the coastline of Negros Island, studies had been made by institutions assessing the occurrence of birds in the wetlands, among which it was found out that in areas of Kabankalan coast and the neighboring city and municipalities there were 48 bird species found more than in some other wetlands. Some data and views are presented below.
