Agri-Pinoy rice achievers awardees

The are 10 provinces, 48cities and towns and 12 irrigators' associations in the Philippines have received the 2012 Rice Achievers awards at the Philippine International Convention Center, in Pasay Ciy on March 15,2012.
"For producing more rice that surpassed their targets, attaining a higher average yield per hectare, encouraging more farmers to use quality seeds and employ modern technologies, and allotting more budget for rice related projects." These are the awardees as follows;



Top 10 Provinces: Nueva Ecija, Isabela and Pangasinan lead the top rice achievers, followed by Nueva Viscaya, Bulacan, Kalinga, La Union, Davao del Sur, Compostela Valley and Zambuoanga del Sur.
Top 48 Cities and  Municipalities: 
         Nueva Ecija: Talabera, Guimba, Gen. Tinio, Llanera, Sta. Rosa, Sto.Domingo, Cuyapo, and Lupao.
         Isabela: Alicia, Cauayan, and San Mateo, Roxas.
         Pangasinan: Manaoag, and Sta. Maria.
         Bulacan: San Rafael.
         Nueva Viscaya: Aritao and Solano.
         Kalinga: Tabuk City.
         La Union: Bacnotan, San Juan, and Sudipen.
         Davao del Sur: Matanao.
         Zamboanga del Sur: Bayog and Mahayag.
         Laguna: Pila.
         Mindoro Occidental: Rizal, Sablayan, and Calapan City.
         Albay: Polangui, and Oas.
         Sorsogon: Irosin.
         Antique: Sibalom.
         Aklan: Kalibo.
         Capiz: Dumalag
         Iloilo: Pototan and San Miguel.
         Negros Occidental: KABANKALAN CITY.
         Bohol: Pilar.
         Biliran: Almeria, Culaba, and Naval.
